Jim Tuckwell

Jim Tuckwell is a seasoned technical sales professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as a Technical Sales Engineer at AP Americas Inc. since January 2024, Jim previously held the position of Joint Accounts Manager at Infineon Technologies from December 2017 to June 2023. Prior to that, Jim worked as a Region Distribution Manager at Microchip Technology Inc. from September 2006 to December 2017, where responsibilities included managing distribution partner relationships and providing sales support. Jim's career began at Texas Instruments from 1988 to 2002 as a Field Sales Engineer, followed by a Regional Sales Manager role at Samsung Semiconductor from 2002 to 2005, overseeing significant sales territories and key account relationships. Educationally, Jim holds a Master's degree in Physics from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics/Math from Southeast Missouri State University.
