Sunny Zhu

Sunny (Ying) Zhu, CFA, PRM is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in trading, venture capital, and blockchain advisory. Currently serving as a Trader and Venture Capitalist at AP Capital since September 2019, Sunny has made significant VC investments including in Berkeley Skydeck Fund II, Voiceform, and Nonco. In addition, Sunny holds the position of Xcelerator Advisor for the Berkeley blockchain accelerator since July 2022 and co-founded CCM Project to develop cryptocurrency trading bots and Ethereum smart contracts. Previous roles include Associate in Sales and Trading at BMO Capital Markets and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Financial Economics from the Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics with a double major in Actuarial Science and Financial Analysis and Risk Management from the University of Waterloo.
