James Galbraith

James Galbraith has extensive work experience in various roles related to IT and security. James currently works as the Cloud and Network Security Governance Lead at APA Group, starting in 2023. Previously, they held positions at Australia Post, including Cloud Security and Compliance Lead, Product Manager, Trusted Services Product and Compliance Manager, Senior Business Analyst, and Senior Business Systems Analyst. James also worked as a Senior Analyst and Engineer at the National Australia Bank from 2016 to 2018. James took a sabbatical in 2015 and worked as a traveler. Before that, they served in the Canadian Forces Reserve from 2009 to 2016. James has also worked as an Analyst Programmer at the National Australia Bank, an IT Consultant at Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting, and an IT Consultant at Planetworks Consulting. Their early work experience includes a role as a Cyber Defence Co-op at the Department of National Defence and a Helpdesk Analyst at Chevron.

James Galbraith attended Simon Fraser University from 2003 to 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Science.
