David Drake

David Drake is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Global Digital Enablement Lead for Facilities Engineering at Apache Corporation since November 2014. Previously, David held several key positions at Apache, including Instrumentation and Controls Engineer and Mechanical Integrity Advisor, where responsibilities included developing mechanical integrity programs for the Delaware Basin. In midstream operations, David effectively managed multiple mechanical refrigeration plants and compressor stations, overseeing significant capacities and leading teams of over 60 personnel. Prior to Apache, David worked at Enerflex Ltd. as an Applications Supervisor and Project Engineer, executing compressor packages and managing engineering teams. David's career began with service as a Field Artillery Officer in the US Army. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
