Davey Birney

Davey Birney is an experienced Maintenance Superintendent with a robust background in the oil and gas industry. Currently, Davey is employed at Santos Ltd since November 2018 and serves as a Maintenance Superintendent. In addition, Davey has held the position of Maintenance Superintendent at Quadrant Energy for the Varanus/Devil Creek Hub and is contracted as an Emergency Response/Maintenance Coordinator at Apache Energy, where responsibilities include updating and validating procedures. Previous roles include Maintenance Superintendent at Woodside Energy, managing maintenance and startup support for the Ngujima-Yin FPSO, as well as other leadership positions in maintenance integration and operations management across various projects. Davey's extensive experience encompasses managing shutdowns, ensuring technical integrity, and supervising multidisciplinary teams to achieve operational goals.
