Dr. Naser Rezaie has extensive work experience in the field of urban planning and development. Dr. Naser currently serves as the Deputy of Housing Development and Urban Planning in New Cities at the Ministry of Road and Urban Development. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of the Urban Planning Department at Apadana University starting in 2013. Dr. Rezaie also worked at Shiraz Municipality, where they served as the Head of the Development Planning Department and was responsible for preparing detailed plans for the city. Dr. Naser also held the role of Investment Advisor at Hogel Holding Company. Additionally, Dr. Rezaie worked as an urban planner at the University of Tehran, where they focused on projects such as the empowerment of spontaneous residencies and city development strategies.
Dr. Naser Rezaie began their education in 2009 at the University of Tehran, where they completed a Master's degree in Urban Studies/Affairs in 2011. Dr. Naser then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in urban planning at the Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, from 2014 to 2017. Prior to their Ph.D., they also obtained a Master's Degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Tehran between 2009 and 2011.
