Szymon Gwóźdź

Szymon Gwóźdź has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Szymon is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Apaleo since April 2023. Previously, they worked at Bolt as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2021 to February 2023. At Bolt, they were involved in pursuing a unique e-commerce paradigm and incorporating embedded solutions.

Before that, Szymon worked at Viessmann as a Software Engineer from April 2020 to June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Ryanair - Europe's Favourite Airline as a Software Engineer. At Ryanair, they contributed to delivering a distributed application responsible for maintaining a virtual basket state and also worked on delivering REST API for the Ryanair website and mobile apps.

Szymon also gained experience at Volvo IT as a Software Engineer from July 2016 to April 2017, where they worked on large automotive datasets and gained skills in data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL and QlikView.

Szymon started their career at Gemotial as a Software Engineer, where they worked on web and mobile applications utilizing Xamarin and ASP.NET MVC from March 2015 to October 2015.

Szymon Gwóźdź obtained an Engineer's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Wroclaw, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Szymon then pursued a Master's degree in Business Informatics at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business from 2017 to 2019.

In terms of additional certifications, Szymon acquired the MTA: Software Development Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in August 2018. Szymon later obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification in February 2021. In October 2022, Szymon became an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certified by Amazon Web Services (AWS). Additionally, they gained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from AWS in February 2023.
