Elin Haf Davies has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Elin Haf started their professional journey in 1999 as a Prop forward for Wales A and London Wasps rugby teams, showcasing their sporting abilities. In 2001, they transitioned to the healthcare sector and worked as a Senior Research Nurse at Great Ormond Street Hospital until 2007. During this time, Elin also pursued their PhD studies at University College London from 2007 to 2011.

Following their studies, Elin joined the European Medicine Evaluation Agency as a Scientific Administrator from 2007 to 2013. In 2011, they became a Member of RORC, further expanding their professional network. In 2013, they joined the Centre for the Advancement of Sustainable Medical Innovation as an Associate Fellow.

Elin's leadership skills were evident when they became the Chief Executive Officer of Aparito in 2015, a position they still hold. Additionally, they took on the role of Chair at Metabolic Support UK in 2019. Lastly, they worked as a Research Fellow at Bangor University from 2014 until December 2020. Elin's extensive work experience reflects their versatility and commitment to making a difference in various fields.

Elin Haf Davies pursued their education in the field of healthcare research. Elin Haf completed their MSc in Research Methods in Health Care at City, University of London from 2006 to 2007. Following this, they enrolled at UCL from 2007 to 2011 and successfully obtained a PhD degree. Their doctoral research focused on quantifying neurological manifestations, specifically gait and ataxia, in Lysosomal Storage Disorders.
