Mhaya Polacco

Mhaya Polacco is a versatile media professional with experience in writing, production, and post-production roles. Currently a Staff Writer at Sweety High Media, Polacco pitches over 30 article ideas monthly and produces three impactful articles weekly. Previously, at TeamPeople, responsibilities included crewing and scheduling for post-production personnel. Earlier experiences involve roles such as a TV Coordinator and Writer’s Intern at Baboon Animation, where support was provided to writing staff and show development. Additional positions include assisting at Gotham Comedy Foundation, Maven Pictures, FilmNation Entertainment, Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, and teaching film and video at Preston High School. Polacco holds a Bachelor of Arts in Playwriting and Screenwriting with a minor in Film Production from Purchase College, SUNY.
