Jesse

Jesse Ma serves as General Counsel at Apartment Therapy Media since March 2021 and holds the position of Adjunct Professor of Law at Fordham University School of Law since June 2012, teaching a seminar focused on startup, corporate, and media law with an emphasis on intellectual property, drafting, and ethics. Previous experience includes roles as Head of Partnerships at South China Morning Post SCMP, General Counsel at Upworthy, and Counsel at Gawker Media, where extensive legal expertise was developed in managing risk, drafting contracts, and advising cross-functional teams. Jesse Ma has a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Chicago.
