Hugh Wilson

Hugh Wilson is a seasoned financial modeller with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently leading the development and analysis of financial models for Apatura Ltd's 11GW portfolio of battery storage and renewable energy projects, Hugh has previously served as a business adviser at Azuli International, focusing on carbon neutrality in the energy sector. As the economics lead at Lapis Energy, Hugh specialized in CCS and energy techno-economic modelling. An earlier role at EMARI.co.uk involved market research and marketing support for energy transition narratives, while prior positions included energy consulting, economic feasibility modelling for small-scale PV and battery systems, and data analysis for zero-carbon heating systems. Hugh holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy and Entrepreneurship from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Cardiff University.
