Alison Venable

Alison Venable serves as Government Relations Counsel at APCO International since June 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland Center for Health and Homeland Security and as a Summer Legal Intern at the Federal Communications Commission. Additionally, Alison has worked as a Law Clerk at the Howard County Office of Law and as a Legal Intern with the Agricultural Law Education Initiative. Earlier work includes a Corps Member position with Americorps NCCC FEMA Corps, coordinating disaster assistance, and volunteer roles with the International Rescue Committee and the Center for PeaceBuilding and Development. Alison holds a Juris Doctorate in Cybersecurity and Crisis Management Law and Environmental Law from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, along with a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from American University.
