Joseph Murphy, RPL, CMCP, currently serves as Customer Care Supervisor at American Woodmark since August 2022 and has been an Adjunct Instructor for APCO International since January 2014, teaching courses on public safety communications and embodying a high level of professionalism in educational settings. From September 2019 to August 2022, Joseph was the Deputy Director of Communications at Jefferson County Emergency Communications Center, overseeing staff training and project management. Joseph held the position of First Vice President of the Virginia Chapter of the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) for a brief period in 2019 and was the Second Vice President from May 2018 to May 2019, focusing on promoting Emergency Number Professional certification.
