Denielle Sachs

Denielle Sachs has extensive work experience in social impact, sustainability, and advocacy roles. Denielle is currently the Global Head of APCO Impact at APCO Worldwide, where they established and launched the impact and sustainability consulting practice. In this role, they oversee the growth, strategy, and operations of the practice, providing services to companies, philanthropies, and nonprofits.

Prior to joining APCO Worldwide, Denielle was the Founder and Managing Director of The Tembo Group, a boutique social impact and sustainability consultancy. Denielle led interdisciplinary teams in client engagements, building models, designing organizational strategies, and piloting events. The Tembo Group was acquired by APCO Worldwide in 2020.

Denielle also served as the Executive Director of The Blue Sphere Foundation, where they established and led a foundation focused on addressing threats to oceans. Denielle worked closely with the founder to scale conservation efforts in coastal communities around the world.

Before entering the consulting and foundation sectors, Denielle held significant roles at McKinsey & Company and the White House Executive Offices of the President and Vice President. At McKinsey, they were a founding member of the Social Sector Office and played a key role in developing the firm's corporate citizenship strategy and corporate foundation. Denielle also co-led the development and launch of the firm's first enterprise-wide signature initiative.

During their time at the White House, Denielle served as a Press Lead and Advance Associate, producing events for campaigns, the President, Vice President, and other senior officials. Denielle managed trip and media logistics and contributed to crisis management efforts.

Denielle's earlier work experience includes roles at APCO Worldwide, the Global Alliance for TB Drug Development, The Asia Foundation, and Abernathy MacGregor. In these positions, they supported clients in public policy, strategic communication, relationship building, and communications efforts.

Denielle Sachs has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from New York University, where they earned Dean's List recognition. Denielle also holds a Master of Science with Honors in International Development from SOAS University of London. Prior to their higher education, they completed their high school education at Stuyvesant High School, specializing in Math and Science, and obtained a Regents Diploma.
