Carlos Hernandez

Carlos Hernandez has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Carlos started their career in 2010 as a Student at UC Santa Barbara, where they worked until 2014. During this time, they gained experience in laboratory work. In 2013, Carlos also worked as a Research Assistant at UCSB Materials Research Laboratory, where they assisted in the characterization and development of renewable bio-inspired wet adhesives for biomedical devices.

In 2014, Carlos joined Apeel, where they held various positions over the years. Carlos started as a Product Engineer before transitioning to a role as a Formulation Scientist in 2015. Carlos was responsible for formulating products and developing new technologies. In 2018, Carlos was promoted to Senior Formulation Scientist and contributed to the company until 2019.
