Daniel Jones

Daniel Jones is an experienced leader in medical affairs with a focus on neurology, immunology, and ophthalmology. Currently serving as Vice President of US Medical Affairs at Apellis Pharmaceuticals, Jones oversees patient advocacy, medical directors, HEOR, and field medical teams, while also preparing for a new product launch in a rare disease indication. Previous roles include Head of Global Medical Affairs for Ophthalmology at Apellis, where Jones led the launch of a groundbreaking therapy for GA secondary to AMD, and Head of US Medical Affairs for Neurology & Immunology at EMD Serono, managing teams overseeing multiple products.
