Hans Vanhorebeek has a strong background in health, safety, and environment (HSE) management. Hans began their career at Anheuser-Busch InBev in 2006, where they served as a Global ES Manager, responsible for establishing and enforcing global environment and safety standards. Hans then moved on to Sarens, where they worked as a QEHS Manager, overseeing the establishment and enforcement of global quality, environment, and safety standards.
In 2009, Vanhorebeek joined Knauf Insulation as a Regional HSE & Systems Manager, providing HSE guidance and support to multiple rock mineral wool manufacturing plants. Hans also played a key role in implementing an integrated management system and sharing HSE best practices.
Vanhorebeek's next role was at IBA, where they served as Group EHS Director from 2015 to 2018. In 2020, Vanhorebeek joined Luminus as an HSE Director, but their tenure with the company ended in March 2021. Currently, they are serving as the Global Head of Health and Safety at Aperam, where they provide leadership and direction for all Aperam sites and employees worldwide. Hans sets the strategic vision for the company's H&S programs and ensures consistent application of H&S policies and standards.

Hans Vanhorebeek completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from an unspecified institution between 1996 and 1999. Hans then pursued a Master's degree in Environmental and Prevention Management from EHSAL between 1999 and 2002.
