Anna Kostecka is a Senior Consultant with Aperian Global with over a decade of experience supporting organizations on their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion journey. She has helped build inclusive workspaces in large and medium-sized public and private sector companies. Ms Kostecka’s pioneering work has been the development of “Inclusive Workplace Competencies” that describe knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to create an inclusive workplace. This framework is now being used by organizations around the world.
Prior to joining Aperian Global, Ms Kostecka has helped established the learning and consulting portfolio for the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC) in Canada. As the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Diversity Hub in Poland, Ms Kostecka founded the Center for Employee Resource Groups, aimed at helping organizations realize the full potential of ERGs.
Ms Kostecka currently resides in Warsaw, Poland, and is fluent in English, Polish, German and Spanish. She has volunteered her time as a grants/proposal writer in the area of diversity and gender for Skills for Change.
Ms Kostecka holds an MA in Psychology from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, and a graduate-level certificate in Adult Education from the University of Toronto. She is a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and the Intercultural Conflict Style Inventory.
