Jimmy Merrick

Jimmy Merrick is a seasoned professional in renewable energy development, currently serving as Director of Development at Apex Clean Energy since June 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing the development of utility-scale wind, solar, and storage projects from concept to construction. Previously, Jimmy held various roles at Deloitte, including Consultant and Business Technology Analyst, and also gained experience at Apex Clean Energy in a development capacity. Earlier career experience includes working as 1st Mate, Dispatcher, and Salvage Crew at Boat America Corporation. Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Science and Technology with a focus on Energy from James Madison University and has completed studies in Sustainability at the University of Malta.
