Associate Lead, Project Valuation & Analysis at Apex Clean Energy

Saliha Kabaca has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy sector. Saliha is currently serving as an Associate Lead in Project Valuation & Analysis at Apex Clean Energy since 2018. In this role, they utilize their expertise in financial modeling to analyze utility-scale renewable energy projects and support negotiations for various agreements.

Prior to that, Saliha worked as an Energy Project Finance Specialist in the Finance department of Apex Clean Energy from 2018 to 2024. Saliha also worked as an Engineering Intern at Global Energy Services Siemsa S.A. in 2014, where they focused on maintaining wind turbines and mapping electrical connections on-site. Prior to that, they had an engineering internship at VİKO by Panasonic in 2013.

Additionally, Saliha was involved with Duke University as the MEM Finance Club President in 2017. Overall, their work experience demonstrates their expertise in renewable energy, particularly in financial modeling, project development, and analysis.

Saliha KABACA completed their Master's Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management at Duke University from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including "Financing and Investing in Infrastructure" from Università Bocconi on Coursera in 2020, "Bloomberg Market Concepts" from Bloomberg LP in 2019, and "NABCEP PV Associate™" from NABCEP: North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners in 2017, among others.
