Sergio Luna

Sergio Luna has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Sergio started their career in the USAF, where they held various leadership positions and served as a Missile Maintenance Officer. In 2007, they transitioned to Horizon Wind Energy, working as an Operations Manager until 2010. Following that, from 2010 to 2012, they worked at Stericycle as the Director of Return Operations. Sergio then joined Pattern Energy Group in 2012, where they held multiple roles, including Regional Manager and Facility Manager for various wind energy projects. In 2019, they worked as the After-Market Business Lead at Siemens Gamesa. Sergio then moved on to Northland Power Inc. in 2020, serving as the General Manager of Operations for Latin America until 2021. Currently, they are employed at Apex Clean Energy, working as the Commercial Operations Manager and later transitioning to the role of Director of Technical Project Assurance.

Sergio Luna earned a BA in History from The University of Texas Permian Basin, between 1997 and 1999. Sergio then pursued an MA in Latin American History from The University of Texas at Austin, from 2004 to 2007.
