Matthew Umberger P.e.

Matthew Umberger, P.E. has over 15 years of work experience in engineering and architecture. Matthew started their career at BOX Design as an Architectural Designer from February 2007 to May 2008. Matthew then joined Neujahr & Gorman, Inc. as a Project Manager in June 2008, where they managed projects from start to finish and worked with clients and contractors throughout the design and construction phases. In 2014, Matthew joined Apex Engineers, Inc. as a Project Manager and later became the Structural Engineering Manager in January 2017. Matthew also served as the Branch President from February 2019 to November 2021. Matthew currently holds the position of Director of Research and Development at Apex Engineers, Inc., starting in January 2022.

Matthew Umberger, P.E. earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Architectural Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, where they attended from 2004 to 2008. Matthew obtained their certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) from the State of Colorado in October 2013. Matthew also holds additional certifications as a Professional Engineer (PE) from the State of Texas and the State of Washington. In addition, they are certified as a Structural Engineer (SE) by the State of Illinois. However, the month and year of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
