Alex Winstead

Alex Winstead has worked in the mushroom industry since 2003. Alex began their career as a Production Crew at Fungi Perfecti LLC in 2003, then moved on to become President of Cascadia Mushrooms LLC in 2005. Most recently, they have been the Chief Cultivation Officer of Apex Labs Ltd. since 2020.

Alex Winstead attended Western Washington University from 2000 to 2001. Alex then transferred to The Evergreen State College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science/Ecology in 2005.
