Jaya Iyer

Jaya Iyer has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They started their career as an Intern at EcoRebates in 2009 and simultaneously served as a Team Leader for Formula SAE. In 2011, Jaya worked as a Graduate Student Researcher for the Nondestructive Evaluation Research Group. Following that, they joined Space Exploration Technologies in 2012 as a Structures Engineer until 2016. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Millennium Space Systems, holding roles as a Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer and later as a Lead Spacecraft Structures Engineer. In 2020, Jaya joined Stellar Pizza as a Mechanical Engineer and worked there until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Structures Engineer at Apex, starting in 2023.

Jaya Iyer completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at UCLA, from 2011 to 2012.
