John Manlove has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. John is currently the CEO & Founder of Apex Trading, a platform that disrupts cannabis commerce channels by providing comprehensive tools and services to cultivators, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. In 2019, they also founded Bushel44, which offers enterprise-level management software to businesses in the hemp industry.

Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, John worked at Tradiv as the COO & Director of Sales, where they launched their e-commerce platform in Colorado and scaled it to serve over 30% of the market. John also served as the Director of Client Engagement, responsible for hiring and training sales staff and developing sales processes.

Before entering the cannabis industry, John was a Regional Account Manager at WasteXpress Environmental, focusing on client acquisitions, support, and environmental compliance consulting services. John demonstrated their knowledge of hazardous material and waste management regulations and successfully managed subcontractors for large-scale environmental remediation projects.

At the start of their career, John gained legal experience as a Legal Runner at Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell & Brown, where they provided administrative support and served legal documents. John also worked as a Legal Assistant at the Stone County Prosecutors Office, where they assisted the prosecutor with investigations, interviews, and victim advocacy.
