Software Engineer II at Apexon

Ravi Kiran Vadlamani has had a diverse work experience starting in 2016 at Indian Oil Corporation Limited as an Assistant Manager. In this role, they were responsible for planning and developing a terminal automation system using RFID tags. Ravi Kiran also developed a digital display to communicate the status of tank trucks.

In 2022, Ravi worked at Carnegie Mellon University where they had two roles. Firstly, they worked on a research project focused on audio/speech from January to May. Additionally, they were a Research Assistant at Cylab under the mentorship of Prof. Marios Savvides. In this role, they worked on a project called Product Identification, exploring ways to recognize different products using advanced deep learning methods.

In 2022, Ravi also interned as a Software Engineer at Amazon Lab126 for two months. Ravi Kiran gained valuable experience in this role.

Currently, Ravi is working as a Software Engineer II at Apexon, starting in 2023.

Ravi Kiran Vadlamani completed their Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, between 2011 and 2015. In 2021, they commenced their Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, which they completed in 2022. In December 2022, Ravi Kiran obtained their Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
