Daniel Buffet

Daniel Buffet has a diverse work experience starting from 1985 till present. Daniel worked as a Software Development Engineer at Dayton Computer from June 1985 to October 1986. From December 1986 to July 1989, they served as a Systems Engineer at Ilford AG. Next, they worked as a Team Lead, System Engineering at Bombardier (formerly: ABB) from August 1989 to June 1993. Then, at UBS, they held the position of Team Leader, System Engineering from June 1993 to October 1999. Currently, Daniel is associated with APG|SGA AG, where they started as a Project Manager from November 1999 to June 2003 and later became the Chief Information Officer (CIO) from January 2003 to present.

Daniel Buffet has a diverse education history spanning several prestigious institutions. In 1974 they attended Kantonsschule Zürich where they pursued a field of study in Matura Type B, and they graduated in 1980. Following this, they enrolled at ETH Zürich from 1980 to 1985 and focused on Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Later, in 1996, they attended University of St.Gallen and completed an Executive MBA program until 1998. In 2001, Daniel obtained a certificate in Managing Organizational Change from ODR. Moving forward to 2011 and 2012, they pursued a CIO Certificate (extra occupational, 50% work quota) at the University of Maryland Global Campus. Lastly, in 2017, they briefly studied Machine Learning at Stanford University.
