Shenelle Shaw

Aphl-cdc Environmental Health Laboratory Research Fellow at APHL

Shenelle Shaw is currently serving as an APHL-CDC Environmental Health Laboratory Research Fellow, focusing on the validation of the EPA 1633 draft method for extracting and measuring various per- and polyfluoroalkylated substances (PFAS) in fish tissue. Previous experience includes a Public Health Internship at the CDC, where research analyses on collaboration maturity models were conducted, and a role as a Patient Care Technician at Hartford Hospital, providing care for patients with serious medical conditions. Shenelle also has experience in retail management and customer service from CVS Health, where responsibilities included supervising staff and managing finances. Shenelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular & Cellular Biology from the University of Connecticut.
