Detlef Dr. Purschke

Detlef Dr. Purschke has an extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Detlef started their career in 1986 as a Project Engineer for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. In 1987, they moved to IBM as a Director of Client Services. In 1997, they joined Electronic Data Systems as a Management Director, where they were responsible for restructuring and business transformation. In 2000, they moved to Software AG as Chief Service Officer. In 2004, they joined LHS as Chief Marketing Officer, President Americas & Europe, where they were responsible for transformation, restructuring, and sustainable growth. In 2009, they joined Prinoth GmbH as a Management Director. In 2013, they moved to Stonebranch as Chief Strategy Officer and later as CEO. In 2020, they joined APIIDA as CEO, where they are responsible for finding the most effective combination of APIs, identity management, and real-time data.

Detlef Dr. Purschke began their educational journey in 1980, when they attended The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg. Detlef studied Geophysics and earned a Diplom in 1986. Afterward, they attended the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, where they earned a Dr. rer. nat. in Geographic Information Science and Cartography in 1991. Finally, they attended Hochschule St. Gallen, where they earned a Business Engineering degree in 2000.
