Gokhan Batur

Gokhan Batur is an accomplished executive in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Alkapharmics SARL, a Swiss biotech company focused on anti-inflammatory diseases, since March 2024. With a significant background in venture capital as a Venture Partner at XGEN Venture SGR S.p.A. and as an independent Board Member for both Santero Therapeutics and APIM Therapeutics, Gokhan also co-founded Oleago, promoting sustainable materials in the textile industry. Previously, Gokhan served as Chief Executive Officer at Polyphor AG, transforming its corporate strategy toward oncology, and held various senior roles at Merck, managing global marketing and commercial operations for antibiotics and oncology products. Gokhan holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Boğaziçi University and is a graduate of Robert College.
