Raj Batra has a diverse work experience with expertise in talent acquisition and management. Raj started their career as a Men's Rowing Coach at Saint Mary's College of California in 2004. Raj then transitioned into the corporate world, working as the VP - Talent Acquisition Initiatives & Analytics at Bank of the West - BNP Paribas from 2011 to 2016. Following that, they worked as a Talent Acquisition Director at CMG Financial from 2016 to 2018. Raj then held roles as the Director of Talent Acquisition at Amyris in 2018 and as the Director of Talent at Komodo Health from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they serve as the Head of Talent at Apixio starting from October 2020.

Raj Batra CIR CSSR holds a Bachelor's of Science/Bachelor's of Arts degree in Political Science & Geology from Vanderbilt University. Raj has obtained several certifications, including People Analytics and Using Data Science to Hire Employees from LinkedIn in 2021. In 2014, they became a LinkedIn Certified Professional-Recruiter, and in 2012 and 2011, they acquired certifications as a Certified Social Sourcing Recruiter and Certified Internet Recruiter, respectively, from AIRS.
