José Antonio Yañez

José Antonio Yañez has worked in the financial industry since 2015. José Antonio began their career as a Junior Consultant for EY in 2015, where they were an analyst for the advisory area and was responsible for the relationship with clients and control for the implementation of software for a Mexican bank. José Antonio then worked for Mexico Value Partners as a Global Markets Analyst in 2016. Later that year, they joined INVEX as an Independent Financial Advisor, where they were responsible for the implementation of new projects for the private banking area, collaboration in the products area, and asset management for INVEX Family Offices and Independent Consultants. In 2018, they became a Portfolio Manager for S.C. Asset Management, managing customer base accounts. José Antonio is currently a Merchant Operations & Strategy Manager for Aplazo since 2022.

José Antonio Yañez obtained a Global MBA with a Finance Specialization from IEB in 2021. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Business Management from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City between 2011 and 2014. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Strategic Management : Competitive Advantage from Wharton Online in August 2022, Stock Market Certification from Bursatrade in June 2016, and Figura 3 (AMIB) from AMIB - Asociación Mexicana de Instituciones Bursátiles.
