Maria Rivera-Diaz

Maria Rivera-Diaz currently serves as Senior Director of M&A and Corporate Counsel in Legal & Business Affairs at A+E Networks since July 2022. Prior to this role, Maria worked as an Associate at Seward & Kissel LLP in the Business Transactions Group and as an Attorney at Eversheds Sutherland, where responsibilities included advising clients on venture capital investments and engaging in pro bono work. Maria's early legal experience includes a Legal Extern position at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a Summer Associate role at Sutherland, and a Legal Intern position with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia. Maria holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences.
