Liz Ndaire McIpd

Liz Ndaire MCIPD has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Liz Ndaire currently serves as the Global Head of Talent & Development at APM Terminals, where they collaborate with executive leadership to establish strategic initiatives focused on employee development, retention, and organizational health. Liz Ndaire also designs performance management systems to maximize employee potential. Prior to this role, Liz held the position of Head of HR, Middle East & Africa (MEA) and Global Talent Leader at APM Terminals, where they developed and implemented a region-wide people strategy and served as the subject matter expert for HR best practices.

Before joining APM Terminals, Liz worked at GE, where they held various HR positions. As the Director of Human Resources for Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, they aligned HR strategy with business objectives and facilitated talent processes across the broader HR team. Liz Ndaire also served as an HR Business Partner for GE Africa, providing guidance on professional development, performance management, and change management efforts.

Liz began their career at Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, where they served as the Group Director of Human Resources for East Africa. Liz Ndaire successfully integrated Fairmont culture into the Kenya properties and improved HR processes.

Prior to their time at Fairmont, Liz worked at Hilton Hotels Worldwide as a Human Resources Manager for both the Hilton Sandton and Hilton Nairobi locations.

Earlier in their career, Liz gained experience as the Human Resources Manager at Occidental Insurance Company Ltd.

Liz Ndaire MCIPD has a diverse education history. Liz Ndaire completed a Strategic Human Resources Leadership program at Cornell University in 2017 and also pursued an Executive Leadership course at the same institution in 2011. Further back, Liz obtained an MBA in HR from the University of Nairobi between 2004 and 2006. Their earlier education includes a Bachelor of Education in Arts (Maths & Business Studies) from Kenyatta University, which was completed between 1996 and 2000.
