Emily Garness

Emily Garness has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Emily is currently serving as the VP Corporate Controller at Apogee Enterprises, Inc. Previously, they worked as a Corporate Controller at Red Wing Shoe Co. for six years. Before that, they held the role of Corporate Controller at POET, the world's largest producer of biofuels. Emily also served as the Director of Business Planning and Analysis at Gavilon Group, LLC. Additionally, they worked at Terra Industries, Inc. as an Assistant Controller and Financial Reporting Manager. Their early career started at Deloitte as an In Charge and Eide Bailly LLP as an Audit Intern.

Emily Garness pursued their education at the University of South Dakota from 1998 to 2003. During this time, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and also obtained a Masters in Professional Accountancy. Their field of study was Accounting.
