Josh Cirulli is an accomplished medical affairs leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Vice President of Medical Affairs at Apogee Therapeutics since August 2023, Josh previously held the position of Executive Director of Medical Affairs at Cara Therapeutics from April 2019 to August 2023, where responsibilities included leading the Medical Affairs department and overseeing a team of 10. Prior to that, Josh worked at Celgene for nearly six years in various roles, culminating in Senior Director, Dermatology Disease Lead, where impactful contributions included the global launch of Otezla. Earlier career experiences involved roles at Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, CVS Pharmacy, and Johnson & Johnson, as well as academic positions at Rutgers University, demonstrating a solid foundation in medical education, clinical research, and stakeholder engagement. Josh Cirulli holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Life Science from Penn State University.
