Jon Barton

Jon Barton has a diverse work experience in various finance roles. Jon is currently serving as the Head of Commercial Finance at Apogee Corporation since May 2022. Prior to that, Jon worked as the Interim Head of FP&A at Aggregate Industries UK from May 2021 to March 2022. Jon also held the position of Interim Finance Business Partner at Simply Business from January 2021 to May 2021, and at Zentiva from January 2020 to January 2021.

Before these roles, Jon served as the Interim FP&A Manager at Shawbrook Bank from July 2019 to January 2020. Jon has a significant experience with International Financial Data Services (IFDS), where they held the positions of Director of FP&A and Commercial Pricing from August 2017 to April 2019, and Divisional Head of Finance from December 2013 to August 2017.

Jon's earliest experience was as a Group Financial Planning Senior Analyst at IFDS from November 2010 to December 2013. Jon started their career as a Management Accountant at Tullett Prebon in February 2007 and later served as an Accounts Assistant at Fitch Ratings from October 2002 to February 2007.

Jon Barton's education history begins with their time at William Edwards School from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained their GCSE degree. Following this, from 1998 to 2001, they attended Palmers College, where they pursued A-levels and an Advanced GNVQ degree with a focus on Business Studies and English Language. Jon then enrolled at CIMA and completed their ACMA degree by 2009. Currently, it is noted that they are in the process of completing their FCMA degree at CIMA, with an expected completion year of 2023.
