Maurits Akkerman

Maurits Akkerman is a seasoned professional in process mining with extensive experience at Bright Cape since September 2020, currently serving as Team Lead for Process Mining. In this role, Maurits focuses on the growth of the process mining team, enhancing capabilities, recruiting talent, and driving performance. Previously, Maurits held positions as Senior Process Mining Consultant and Process Mining Consultant, working on various projects including the technical implementation of Celonis at notable clients like Rabobank and ABN AMRO. Maurits's early career includes roles as a Graduate Intern at Office Depot Europe, Student Coordinator, and Student Assistant for digitalization projects at TU/e, as well as a Mathematics Tutor. Maurits holds a Master of Science in Engineering, Operations Management & Logistics from Eindhoven University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Technische Bedrijfskunde from the same institution.
