Leandro Sales Holanda Pinto

Leandro Sales Holanda Pinto currently serves as VP of Technology at Apollo Agriculture since March 2023. Previously, Leandro held positions as VP of Engineering and Director of Engineering at MessageBird from June 2019 to March 2023, and as Director of Infrastructure and Technology, Senior Team Lead, and Developer & Team Leader at Booking.com from January 2013 to April 2019. Leandro completed a PhD in Information Technology, specializing in Software Engineering, at Politecnico di Milano from 2010 to 2012, where research focused on the development of the Declarative Service Orchestration Language (DSOL). Additionally, Leandro gained experience as a Visiting Student Researcher at Georgia Institute of Technology, a Software Development Consultant at Sagarana Technologies, and as Director at E-NOVAR Soluções Tecnológicas, contributing to various software development projects. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Applied Informatics from UNIFOR and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Ceara.
