Dewey Johnson has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Sr. IT Enterprise Technician at Apollo Group Inc. from July 2002 to June 2010. In this role, they supported various buildings at the Online-University of Phoenix locations, ensuring efficient computer hardware/software compliance and operational readiness. Dewey also maintained and updated online inventory/assets for multiple metro buildings and assisted with staff phone extensions.

Following this, Dewey worked as an IT Lead at Apollo Group from July 2010 onwards. In this position, they led and supervised a team of 7 technicians for all Metro campus locations, in addition to Western International University and Phoenix Main campus. Dewey ensured project scopes were met, assigned and tracked tickets queues to maintain acceptable SLAs, and ensured all tasks were completed successfully and on-time.

Prior to their work at Apollo Group, Dewey served as a DSL Manager at AT&T from September 2000 to March 2002. Dewey managed a crew of 33 employees for ADSL installation for business and residential customers, guaranteeing flawless installation and activation of DSL services. Dewey also developed an Inside House Wiring Training Aid for technicians to simulate field problems during DSL or telephone installations.

Dewey Johnson, a retired US Navy personnel, has an educational background that includes an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, which they completed from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a BSB/IS degree in Information Systems from the same university between 1999 and 2002. Dewey also holds an Associates of Arts Degree from Ferrum College, which they acquired from 1972 to 1974. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications, including CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, and a MAC OS X Support Certificate.
