Jeannette Bankes

Since March 2022, Ms. Bankes has served as a member of the Board. Jeannette Bankes is the President and General Manager of the Global Surgical Franchise at Alcon. Jeannette’s responsibilities include strategic leadership and oversight of product development, portfolio management, and commercialization of products that support the global surgical ophthalmology business.

With over 30 years in the healthcare space, Jeannette has contributed to numerous technological advancements. Prior to joining Alcon, she was at Boston Scientific for 15 years with leadership responsibilities across multiple divisions and functions (Interventional Cardiology, Structural Heart, Cardiac Rhythm & Management, Urology, and Peripheral). Jeannette also worked for Merck for 12 years. Her diverse career portfolio includes management positions in domestic and international marketing, sales, clinical trials, regulatory, medical affairs, medical education, and operations/manufacturing.
