Paula Davis

Paula Davis, MBA, CPC has an extensive work experience spanning over several years. Paula is currently serving as the Director of Patient Access and Payer Relations at Apollo Endosurgery since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the President of North Star Health Economics and Reimbursement, LLC in 2018. From 2020 to 2022, they held the position of Director of Health Economics and Value Strategy in Peripheral Interventions at W. L. Gore & Associates. Paula also served as the Director of Market Access at Advanced Bionics from 2019 to 2020, Director of Market Access-Strategic Accounts at Inspire Medical Systems in 2018, and Director of Field Reimbursement and Health Care Economics Services in Heart Failure at Abbott from 2016 to 2018. Paula's earlier experience includes roles such as Health Economics Policy and Payment Market Access professional at Medtronic from 2015 to 2016, Senior Manager of Health Economics in Deep Brain Stimulation from 2011 to 2015, Senior Manager of Health Economics in Neuromodulation from 2009 to 2011, and Manager of Reimbursement from 2005 to 2009. Paula also held the position of Vice President of Group Sales at Ovations from 2003 to 2005 and Director of National Accounts at Securian Financial Group from 2000 to 2003. Paula'searlier experience also includes the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing/MDB Managing Director at Minnesota Dental Benefits Inc from 1998 to 2000.

Paula Davis, MBA, CPC received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Religion, and Spanish from St. Olaf College. Paula then went on to complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Management at the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business. In 2014, they obtained the certification of Certified Professional Coder from the AAPC American Academy of Professional Coders.
