Kurt Wimmers

Director, Sales Enablement at Apollo GraphQL

Kurt Wimmers has over a decade of work experience in various sales enablement roles. Kurt currently serves as the Director of Sales Enablement at Apollo GraphQL since October 2021. Prior to this, they held roles at Medallia as the Director of Global Sales and Field Enablement from May 2020 to August 2021, and as the Director of Field Sales Performance and Readiness from November 2019 to April 2020. Kurt also worked at HackerRank as the Senior Manager of Global Sales Enablement from October 2018 to November 2019, and at SAP Customer Experience as the Sales Enablement Manager for Sales Cloud from April 2018 to October 2018.

Before transitioning to the sales enablement field, Kurt gained experience in the financial industry working at companies like CallidusCloud, Bank of the West, and Wells Fargo. At CallidusCloud, they served as the Sales Enablement Manager, responsible for training and onboarding sales reps, managing sales content and resources, and creating a consistent sales message. Prior to that, at Bank of the West, they worked as a Private Client Services Operations Analyst, where they partnered with management and staff to implement projects supporting operations. Kurt also has experience as a Financial Consultant, fulfilling documentation requirements for loans, new accounts, and lines of credit. At Wells Fargo, they worked as an Inside Sales Representative, achieving high quota attainment and maintaining client relationships.

Outside of their role in various companies, Kurt has been an active member of the Sales Enablement Society since November 2016.

Kurt Wimmers has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance, General from San Francisco State University. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in "Learn LinkedIn Sales Navigator" from LinkedIn in May 2019 and "Strategic and Conceptual Selling SME" from Miller Heiman Group in March 2018.
