Melanie Marshall

Melanie Marshall has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Melanie started their career in 2011 as a Bartender, Server, and Hospitality Specialist at The Melting Pot Restaurants, where they excelled in providing personalized experiences for clients. In 2012, they worked as a Special Projects Manager and Cashier at Gluten Free Specialty Market, where they built relationships with clients and vendors. From 2014 to 2019, they served as a Tour Guide and Script Writer at the San Francisco Electric Tour Company, demonstrating their ability to create desirable experiences for customers. In 2016, they took on the role of Assistant Casting Director at PlayGround, Inc., where they recruited actors for projects and curated festivals. Melanie also worked as an Administrative Manager at Courage to Resist, overseeing correspondence and managing a database. Melanie briefly worked as a Recruitment Coordinator at Mercury Constant in 2020 and as a Casting Coordinator at Killing My Lobster, where they recruited and coordinated volunteers. More recently, Melanie joined Apollo GraphQL in 2020 and held several roles, including Sourcer, Recruiting Coordinator, and Sourcer & University Recruiting Program Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for sourcing candidates and managing recruitment processes across various teams and levels. Melanie also played a key role in expanding internship programs and was involved in program management. Melanie Marshall attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Theatre Arts. In 2007, they also briefly studied at the American Conservatory Theatre focusing on Theatre. Additionally, in 2008, they had a short-term educational experience at the London Dramatic Academy, specializing in Theatre.
