Aurelia Alston

Aurelia Alston is an experienced UX researcher and manager with a strong background in strategic research and product development. Currently serving as Manager and Staff UX Researcher at Apollo.io, Aurelia leads comprehensive research initiatives that focus on customer segmentation and prioritization. Previously, Aurelia was the Senior Experience Research Manager at the Los Angeles Times, where a first iterative product research program was developed to guide design and product decisions while ensuring compliance with legal frameworks. Experience also includes leadership roles at Outreach, UserZoom, and Smart City PDX, contributing to foundational research, UX program maturity, and community technology access initiatives. Aurelia holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Saint Mary's College of California.
