Derek Moore

Derek Moore is an experienced AWS CWI QA/QC professional currently working at Apollo Mechanical Contractors since November 2015, where responsibilities include QC inspection for ASME AG-1 HVAC installations and QC weld/receiving inspection per NQA-1 at the WIPP site. Prior to this role, Derek served as a QA/QC Inspector at AMA Consultants for a short term in September to November 2015, focusing on pipe weld/layout inspection and work package planning at the Elanco Plant in Augusta, GA. Earlier experience includes a position as a Weld Inspector with CB&I for Vogtle Containment Units 3 and 4 and enhanced inspection for containment modules in Yokohama, Japan, as well as quality control inspector duties at INTERMECH, INC. for pipe testing and QA on site for WSB. Derek holds an Associate's degree in Welding Technology/Welder and an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Welding Technology/Welder from Clackamas Community College, completed between 2009 and 2011.
