Joana Carvalho

Joana Carvalho is currently the VP Drug Discovery and Program Director at Apollo Therapeutics. Prior to this, Joana held roles such as VP, Head of Assays and in vitro Biology at SNIPR Biome, Senior Research Scientist I & Team Leader at Kymab Ltd, Scientist at F-star Therapeutics Ltd, and Staff Scientist I at Genzyme Therapeutics UK. Joana has a background in Biotechnology with a PhD from Instituto Superior Técnico and extensive experience in leading research programs and teams in the fields of immuno-oncology and drug discovery.
