Sagar Mehta

Sagar Mehta serves as the Global HSE Manager at Apollo Tyres Ltd, effective October 2023, focusing on enhancing the global health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management system across the APMEA and Europe regions, which encompass multiple manufacturing plants and various operational functions. Previous experience includes managerial positions at Hitachi Energy where responsibilities involved HSE and sustainability for high voltage factories, and roles at Bombardier, GE Renewable Energy, Godrej Industries, Lupin, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, and Sheer Vallabh Technologies, each concentrating on HSE management, risk assessment, and environmental compliance. Sagar holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from Sardar Patel University and a Post Diploma in Industrial Safety from Mahatma Gandhi Labour Institute, among other certifications, and is currently pursuing a certificate course in Environmental Sustainability from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
