Clayton Shumway

Mr. Shumway is a Partner in the Client and Product Solutions Group of Apollo Global Management where he is responsible for helping lead fundraising efforts for Apollo's private equity, credit and real assets businesses in North America. Prior to joining Apollo, Mr. Shumway was Co-Head of North American Investor Relations and Fundraising at Angelo Gordon. Prior to that, he was leading North America Investor Relations and Fundraising at CVC Capital Partners and a Senior Executive at Monarch Alternative Capital. Mr. Shumway brings extensive hands-on operating experience and leadership in investor relations and fundraising. Earlier in his career, he held Head of Business Development and Investor Relations roles at Highland Capital Management and Newcastle Capital Management. Mr. Shumway began his career in Private Wealth Management at JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs. Mr. Shumway graduated with an MBA in Finance and Investments from University of Notre Dame and received a BS in Economics from University of Utah. Mr. Shumway currently is an Advisory Board Member of the Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah.
