Bruce Reier

Bruce Reier is currently a Software Engineer Intern at Garmin, focusing on developing an internal CRUD application with the .NET Framework and Blazor. As the CEO and Co-Founder of classmate, Bruce is involved in creating a web application aimed at enhancing the college experience for students, engaging in both front-end and back-end development using ReactJS and Firebase. In addition, Bruce works as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, collaborating with Professor Yao Li on cancerous Whole-Slide Image classification. As a Back End Developer for App Team Carolina, Bruce is developing a RESTful API for the Luminary app, enhancing routing capabilities by managing obstacles stored in a PostgreSQL database. Bruce was also a participant in Launch Chapel Hill's Startup Accelerator Summer Cohort, designed to support student-led ventures. Bruce's academic background includes education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Green Hope High School.
